national do not call list

To reduce the number of unsolicited telemarketing calls and faxes consumers receive, the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) launched the National Do Not Call List on September 30, 2008.  

The National Do Not Call List is a nationwide registry. Consumers must sign up to have their cellular, home phone or fax numbers included on the List.  You can sign up online at http://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/ or by calling the toll-free numbers 1-866-580-DNCL (1-866-580-3625) or 1-888-DNCL-TTY (1-888-362-5889). Even if you register with the National Do Not Call List, companies with which you have an existing commercial relationship can still call you.  If you are a Servus Credit Union member and do not wish to receive promotional calls from Servus Credit Union, please call us directly at 780.496.2000 or toll free at 1.877.496.2151.
